A boy is in his adolescence in a remote province of Albania and is put to the test amid a difficult social life where he must make certain choices and decisions that will shape his future character. Caught between his mother's fierce love and his teacher's caressing fragility, he carves out, not without wounds, the person within himself who will become an open door to accepting others, setting aside the prejudices of the society in which he lives.
