Leaving Eden

Sixty years after the nuclear apocalypse, only a small group of people have managed to survive. One of the few survivors is Niko, a ten-year-old child, and his grandfather, Lexi. Niko was born in the devastated industrial area and has never left. Living in an area where they can find food and shelter has made them see it as a heavenly place, for which they must fight their opponents to maintain control of their territory. Through Lexi's toxic influence, Niko is filled with hatred for their opponents who live on the other side of the tracks. In this clash a fierce conflict erupts with a feral child from the opposing side, endangering each other's lives. The battle between the two parties becomes so intense it threatens their very existence, compelling the children to obey the will of the adults for whom this status quo suits. Meanwhile, the conflict between the adults on both sides escalates into a deadly clash, making Niko realise that Lexi is not really the man he thought he was all these years. Niko seeks his truth, which is a difficult journey through the intrigues, hermeticism and hostility of Lexi, and on the other hand questioning what his future might be. The arrival of Xeni, with his family for a few days in the Industrial Area, makes Niko begin to realise that the borders built by Lexi and Fiqo have turned him into a prisoner in the area. Leaving the area would have fatal consequences for the children.
